Aramide Fields

Aramide Fields is the Associate General Counsel for the Asia division of Autoliv, a Fortune 500 company and the world’s largest automotive safety supplier. She provides strategic legal and business advice to colleagues in sales, purchasing, supply chain, compliance, and other functions throughout Asia, including Japan, Korea, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. She is called upon regularly to advise on a wide range of commercial and legal issues such as drafting and negotiating agreements, product quality, product liability, privacy, intellectual property, and commercial disputes.

Before joining Autoliv in November 2020, Aramide was in BigLaw for 15 years in the litigation department of Morrison & Foerster. She spent roughly half of that time in the firm’s San Diego office, and the other half in the firm’s Tokyo office working in the areas of general commercial litigation, product liability, intellectual property, internal investigations, and compliance. Aramide earned a Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction in psychology from the University of Virginia. She lives in Tokyo, Japan, with her husband and three children
