About WILJ


Women in Law Japan (WILJ) was established in 2016 to provide an open, innovative networking platform for women in the legal profession in Japan.
We are the only legal network comprised of Japanese and foreign practitioners working in Japan.
Our mission is to support our members professional development and promote the interests of women in the legal profession in Japan through hosting regular events and collaborative workshops.
The organization aspires to “Inspire, Connect, Empower” – a commitment to our organizations mission of inspiring, connecting and empowering women who work in the legal profession in Japan.
