Context
As most of us are still working from home, we are communicating virtually for long periods every day with diverse groups of people from different cultures, forums and time zones. We are continuing our usual work tasks but now have to lead and participate in meetings, deliver presentations as well as communicate a host of difficult messages. Don`t you think it feels like the future has arrived all of a sudden– disguised as the `new normal` ? For many of us it is not getting any easier and we are tired. This new way of communicating is here to stay. Therefore, more than ever before, effective communication is indispensable to our ability not just to survive but also to thrive and drive success.
Main Objectives
The main objectives of this webinar are to:
• raise awareness of the key challenges we face in navigating this new virtual world
• discuss practical tools and techniques, which we can turn to and implement with immediate effect
• help us all feel more positive, confident and above all more resilient.
Key questions
• What are the key differences between in-person communication and virtual communication?
• What specific tools and techniques can we use to communicate with impact in a virtual world?
• How can we effectively lead and participate in virtual meetings?
