Women in Law Japan is delighted to invite you to a screening of the RBG documentary on Friday, 16 October 2020 hosted by Temple University Japan Law Program, Library and ICAS: Honoring the Life and Times of the Notorious RBG. Join us for this revelatory documentary which explores the exceptional life and career of one of the most iconic Supreme Court justices in American history, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The documentary will be shown in English with Japanese subtitles.

Synopsis:

At the age of 85, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has developed a lengthy legal legacy while becoming an unexpected pop culture icon. But the unique personal journey of her rise to the nation’s highest court has been largely unknown, even to some of her biggest fans – until now. RBG explores Ginsburg’s life and career, and her commitment towards eliminating gender and racial discrimination.
