WILJ welcomes its members to participate in this online event for working mothers and mothers to be in Tokyo. Please join us to catch up with friends (or to make new ones), air your concerns or swap advice.
This event will be hosted by Aramide Fields, Toshimi Itakura and Jacky Scanlan-Dyas. In addition to their most important roles as moms, Aramide, a mother of three young kids (including a set of twins), is the Associate General Counsel for Autoliv Asia, and previously worked for Morrison & Foerster law firm for 15 years in their offices in San Diego, California, and Tokyo, Japan. Toshimi, a mother of a seven year old boy, is the manager of the Legal Department of Sojitz Corporation, a leading international trading house, and has been with the company since 2005. Jacky, a mother to two teenage girls, leads the corporate transactions practice at Hogan Lovells, Tokyo, sits on the firm’s global M&A leadership committee and is a champion of the firm’s agile working program supporting working parents to balance work and childcare.
Our hosts will facilitate and guide the conversation with the intention of having an informal and relaxed discussion among peers. Following brief introductions, and some fun family survival questions, participants themselves will help shape the narrative of this event. We will initially break into three groups, but participants will have opportunities to move between groups. (Mothers who fit into more than one group may choose which one to join.)
Group 1: Mothers to be and mothers with 0-5 year olds
Group 2: Mothers with 6-12 year olds
Group 3: Mothers with teenagers and above

このたび、Women in Law Japanではメンバーの方を対象とした、東京を拠点とす るワーキングマザーや、もうすぐお子様が生まれる方のためのオンラインイベント を開催する運びとなりました。友人として、お互いに悩みを相談したり情報を交換
するとともに新しい友人との出会いの場となれば幸いです。
当イベントではアラミデ・フィールズ、板倉寿美、およびジャッキー・スキャンラン＝ ダイアスの3名が幹事を務めます。母親という重要な役割に加え、それぞれが働く 女性としても大切な役割を担っています。双子を含む3児の母アラミデ・フィールズ は、Autoliv Asiaのアソシエイトゼネラルカウンセルを務めています。Autoliv Asia へ入社する以前は、モリソン・フォースター法律事務所のカリフォルニア州サンディ エゴ事務所および東京事務所を拠点としながら15年間に渡り業務に従事してま いりました。板倉寿美は7歳の男の子を持つ母であるとともに、世界を牽引する総 合商社、双日株式会社の法務部マネージャーとして2005年から同社でのキャリ アをスタートさせました。2人の女の子を育てるジャッキー・スキャンラン＝ダイアス は、ホーガン・ロヴェルズ東京事務所のパートナーとしてコーポレート部門代表お よびグローバルM&Aリーダーシップコミッティーのメンバーを務めています。また、 ワーキングペアレンツが仕事と育児のバランスを保てるよう、事務所のアジャイル ワーキングプログラムを積極的に推進しています。
幹事は、皆様がご自由にリラックスしたムードの中でお話いただける よう、会話の進行役を務めさせていただきます。簡単なイントロダク ションと皆様にお楽しみいただけるようなオンラインアンケートを実 施した後に、参加者の方々でご自由にお話しいただければと思います。イベントは3つのグループに分かれて行われますが、途中で別のグループへご参加いただくことも可能です。（該当するグループが複数ある方はご自由にグループをお選びいただけます。）
① 妊産中または0歳～5歳のお子様をお持ちの方
② 6歳～12歳のお子様をお持ちの方
③ 13歳以上のお子様をお持ちの方
