Lani Vinas
Laarni Victoria Quidoles Vinas (Lani) is a triple-qualified lawyer (Attorney-at-Law in the Philippines and New York and Solicitor of the Supreme Court in England and Wales) and a Legal Director of SHUSAKU·YAMAMOTO where she manages more than 60 lawyers, technology specialists, legal professionals and associates. Lani is also a lecturer in one of the top law schools in the Philippines, University of the Philippines.
A fierce advocate of women’s rights and human rights, Lani supports activities aimed to close the gender parity, particularly in education and employment, in the legal field. She became one of the Executive Board member of Women In Law Japan (WILJ) in 2020. She also volunteers for “Know Your Rights Japan”, an informal volunteer group which she founded in 2018, advocating for the protection and promotion of the individual rights of foreign residents in Japan.
