Nao Goto is a Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager at major global law firm A&O Shearman. With nearly 18 years in the legal services industry, she specializes in helping lawyers and law firms strategically position themselves to deliver an excellent client service, pursue business growth opportunities and enhance their market profile. She has held roles in management and senior leadership roles in law firms business development and marketing functions for nearly a decade with a strong focus on the Japan and Korea markets.
Raised in the U.S. and Japan, Nao quickly experienced firsthand the impact and importance of inclusivity and equity for individual and institutional growth. She is passionate about fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment which enables everyone to bring their best, most authentic selves to any situation to collectively deliver a truly unique and impactful experience.
Outside of work, Nao enjoys cooking, exploring new wines, whisk(e)ys and sake, reading, writing, photography and zoo-keeping (of, in order of age, her turtle, dog and two beautiful daughters).
